I did a couple searches on but really couldn't find much info on running E85. Is there any info on anybody running and what they had to do to run it around? Post links if you have some please....

    Thanks for your time

Bigger injectors, new fuel filter, a few other things and a custom tune.

Just curious because 93 octane is getting harder and harder to find around here so trying to figure out if its worth it to to do the conversion. Plus is going to help when I start really modding the gtp?

You only have to run 91+, so 91 and 92 are still what you can run.

Its about 104 octane if I remember right.

Also e85 will net you alot less miles per gallon aswell. Hence bigger injectors, custom tune yadda yadda.

So if you care about fuel mileage at all, this is not what you want.

A custom tune is not required... It is probably recommended for maximum gains though.. You can bolt a 3.2 pulley and 42# injectors to a completely stock car, toss a fresh tank of e85 in and run mid 13s.

Other than that... the "required" list is totally relevant to your goals. I make more power on E85 than I did on 110 race gas... and I am a bit faster at the track it seems with E85 over $17 a gallon C16 race gas.
