well 2 tons of car stopping instantly does some damage at that low of a speed, i would bet it totaled based on where and how far back, these cars upper rails arent super strong to begin with.
Another one for totalled.
Totalled doesn't mean it can't be fixed, it just means it doesn't make monetary sense to fix it.
If it was a good running low milage car then it might still be worth repairing. That's if you do the work yourself. A front clip from a junk yard will probably be under $1000. Like said, check the roof rails, sub-frame and the rad support. As far as letting a shop do the work; it's just a giant paper weight...part it out.
I assume the airbag discharged? Did that thing bust you in the face?
the car looks totalled but you never know until you really check it out. Looks like it was a sweet ride too. To bad the tree jumped out in front of you, they tend to do that every now and then.
just hold on. Get the bumper cover out of the way cuz that gives no indication of actual damage and makes it look worse than it usually is.
Looks like you need a new hood and right fender for sure, get us some more pics and a quote from a PROFESSIONAL. At least you didn't bust your steering rack like i did lol.
^think he meant that the power steering went right when he started to go around the turn.
Deff looks like frame damage.
