    Or if you just have to have some flash like me and few others here do this 3.5" PIPE PONTIAC GRAND PRIX SE GT GTP 3.8 3.8L V6 AIR INTAKE 97 1998 1999-2003 | eBay

    wow look at that, and I dont even have to take the airbox out XD! sounds like a plan that I can easily do at home.. and It saves me $300 lol..
    but the only thing is.. shouldnt the filter be heat protected?

    im defiantly getting this by the way :P

    Um.. Yes the air box has to come out, it's only 3 bolts. No the filter does not need to be protected.

    oohhh I was just looking at the one on the ebay page, the airbox was still connected in the picture my bad :/
