this problem is intermittent, but seems to happen most often when I accelerate with at least 75% throttle. The trac off light and the red parking brake light both come on while I am accelerating and will remain on most of the time until i brake. Car acts normally while they are on and my wheels are not spinning or anything.

Note that it is not the low trac light, but the trac off light. It is the same light combo that comes on when you engage your parking brake. I make sure to completely release the parking brake before driving.

A parking brake light can be a badly adjusted sensor, low brake fluid in the master cylinder or a few other things.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Yeah start by checking the fluid level, and be sure the float is floating in the master cylinder.

New info: the problem seem to be related to the slope of the car rather than the amount of throttle. For example 75% throttle on flat ground would cause it to happen, but just enough throttle to move the car on a steep hill also sets it off. Braking and sloping the car the other way makes both lights go away.

Also it isn't just the parking brake light coming on. The "Trac Off" light is also coming on and off simultaneously with the brake light.
