For those of you that are considering this to be the cheapest way to bigger horsepower... Think again...

Turbos have always been and will always be the easiest/cheapest way to break 400whp. Remember that there was significant fab work in this setup (exhaust, blower adapters, 8rib, etc), and race gas to achieve what turbo setups do without effort on 93 octane. If you want to try to argue about anything about the turbo being harder or more expensive, go for it, but it will not get you anywhere as there is no 'TVS package" offered by a vendor to compare to the vendor offered turbo kits (because it would be retarded for them to offer one).

If you got a used turbo ($150), and put together your kit (easier and cheaper than headers/adapter plate, but lets assume its equal), you could have an un intercooled turbo on your car for ~$1000 less than a used TVS. Putting a intercooler on your turbo setup is as cheap and easy as a trip to ebay is, vs trying to get a mess of parts to put one under a blower.

What planet do you live on DH? Significant fabrication? It's a plate! You can get one at the same place I got mine. 8 rib setup? I'm using what came stock on the TVS, its a 6rib with an MPS.. that's how they come!

A mess under the blower? There's a plate... Install is easier than an intercooler install. Also you're way off thinking an IC install on a turbo is just as easy as a trip to ebay... you might be able to pick up a junk a2a for cheap on ebay but the pipes are gonna cost double.
You really are in a world of your own.

Unintercooled $150 turbo = blown in 2 months and sub 300whp.

Headers? Your plate cost how much?

You can get ALL of the turbo parts you need off ebay, zero machine work..... For $60.

Why dont you just insult me more, it will make me look more wrong.

That number gets smaller every time you mention it... All I see in the future of someone who listens to you is disappointment and a car that doesn't run.

    T3 turbo flange ~$25 shipped

    Oil line kit ~$35 shipped

Used turbos can be had for $150 shipped, some find them for less, I havent paid more than $120shipped for a turbo off ebay and I have bought many. New 450whp+ turbos can be had on ebay for less than $300 shipped.

Fabbing turbo exhaust can be compared directly to the amount of money and effort behind a cheap set of headers... buying your turbo pipe is compared to buying premium headers.

My point (in the beginning) was that the TVS would be as good as doing an intercooler, but you would have a unique setup.
Now we know it's actually as good as doing a GenV/Ic and heads.

This is the only point I was ever trying to make a point. Everything else is just people's attempt to reduce my point to absurdity.

I have now made my point.

Snowflake I had to go bad to make sure your retarded as I think you are. You have absoultely no idea any of the specs of the fuel you run but it's ok I'm going to help your small little brain out. E85 is a 105 octane rating at the 85/15 mix. It takes 30 percent more fuel to get the same amount of energy when running E85 vs. regular gas. Now here's where it gets fun, You live in CT, it's the middle of February, and you wonder why you only have a 60/40 mix. It's because they add more gas to the mix to ease cold starts you ****ing retard.

I'm not sure why you feel the need to come in guns blazing here... I'm fully aware of what e85 is, what e70 is, what e60 is, etc... The pump said "Minimum 70% ethanol". I was disappointed to find out there was only 60% ethanol. Octane is an entirely different argument and at this point there's no use to go any further than saying, the car will make more power on proper summer blend e85.

Stop throwing heads in there. You are just basing that off 1 or 2 people on the XP list and you don't even know the specs of those heads.

I don't know what you get out of coming online to prove how great your car is.

We get it dude. Give it up.

This isn't at all about how great my car is. This is about people's option to do something else to their cars.

theres a difference between bragging about numbers and saying THIS IS WHAT I RAN AT THE DYNO WITH MY SETUP. he has good numbers with a decent/different set up and he didnt need to intercool and get zzp heads. thats all hes saying. sure hes not turbo and you can go faster with a PROPER turbo setup. but thats comparing apples to oranges and its not necessary.

No, the point your trying to make is that since the TVS blower setup is equal to GenV/IC/Heads it's a better upgrade path. You even **** on turbo builds earlier, hence the point you are trying to make is TVS is better than all.
