I was thinking on going with an S1x cam.Leaning tords the stock timing chain set unless someone despies that. Also should new lifters be intalled? Also i was going to be getting a decent built transmission w/ 3.29's/7/8's/IPS.Now is the s1x better for stock gears?Or would it show more with 3.29's?I am going to the track tonight to hopefully see what my times will be w/ mods in sig.Just wanting to go cam lately. Is the s1x a pain to tune?I currently do not have a tuner.Really wanting an HP tuner thow.So the car would have to be driven to a members house.Wondering if i should send the pcm into intense just to get the basics put in.

s1x would be great with 3.29s and you can use the stock lifters. shoudlnt be bad to tune if you know what youre doing, but skip the off the shelf tune from intense.

the only reason to go with a double roller would be to avoid having to change tensioners later on down the road.

If you going to put a cam in, it would be stupid not to go double roller.

3.29 gears would definitely make a difference no matter what cam you install, and don't bother trying to tune it yourself or letting anyone local do it unless they know what they are doing. Your best bet is to indeed just send off the PCM and have Intense tune it for you. Doubtful your going to find some guy local with a tuner that can do better than what Dyno Brian can do.
