I figured he was referring to the non superchargerd because he typed "as it fits down into the goofy plastic strainer." The PCV valve doesn't fit down into anything plastic on the supercharged engines I've been into and the o ring on the PCV valve seals against aluminum. DH is talking supercharged. But unless you lean over and look into the hole, you'll never see the strainer.
You can barely see it from below as well. See the thing in the hole
that's the strainer. Anyhow one o-ring on the bottom piece of the pcv and seal the top cover.
