I'm getting an aeroforce interceptor soon, and will need a pod for it. I don't have a clue who makes good ones that fit well and look good vs who makes merely mediocre (or worse) pods. I'm leaning towards a hud pod, just because it's right there in my line of sight.
    Opinions?

I'd go for a HUD pod. I plan on ordering one. ZZP's a-pillar pod looks ok too. Supposedly the only one that doesnt screw on and just snaps on.

I got the A-pillar pod from ZZP for 40% off on black friday. It looks great and is a super simple install.

I wish I had known back then that I would be buying this. I could have saved on the pod, and maybe on the gauge, too.
Do the zz hud pods fit well, and does the color match well? I'd like it to look like a factory install, if I can.

Mine is black, and it has a tab that slides between the pillar and the dash.

the color on the zzp pillar matches perfectly. the texture is a very near match, close enough u really cant tell unless u hold it next to the oem

Yeah, that entire piece in my car bounces around because i've broken around half of the pins on it because i've had to resolder the photoelectric resistor in my HUD so many times.

And guess what, its failing again.

Which probably means i failed or GM failed when they made my car.

I wonder which is more likely

Where'd you get that? With all the searching I've been doing for gauge pods, this is the first time I've seen that.
