whats the verdict hippo??????
I changed the oil and it wasn't milky and there was no metal that I could see.
I don't even know where to look for the lim gasket, but I'm sure its metal.
I'm sure it was just moisture.
i tried tellin this kid 3 times where to look for the LIM gasket. BETWEEN the INTAKE and the HEAD. or to make it simple, look at the front valve oover and just follow it down. either you're gonna see the thin piece of metal or a fat piece of plastic between them. one or the other.
i just do not comprehend how you can say, "yes im sure it's metal" without seeing that it's metal.
look on the side the pullys are on
Alrite. We gone try one mo 'gain.
Go to vehicle, said Grand Prix, open le hood.
Step 2: Look at your vehicle from this prospective:
STEP 3: remove engine cover if you have it, and look at the valve cover. seen here NOTE: gasket can even be seen this far away, but just in case, the following steps will help you get a close up :
Step 4: go to the top right of your front valve cover, as seen in the above pic, and LOOK where my finger is pointing. do you see that shiny stuff between the intake and the head? THAT sir is your gasket. seen here:
AND ALSO. seen here, this time no fingers. remember, baby steps.
Hippo..
You are doing the right thing in this case. That milkiness is not necessarily coolant. It could be simple condensation between the hot/cold weather patterns and that you don't drive the car very far.
A significant amount of water/coolant in the oil after being run would show itself as the oil appearing milky throughout.
aw hell naw you didnt call me nub!
it's raining here too but guess what i checked out my car.
True that. BUT if you recall I told you yesterday when I see you on here today you better have an answer for me. I dont like incompetency sir.
