If possible? Mines looking pretty rough ): Could i just sand it and polish it down or do i have to take it all apart and worry about accidentally messing something up..?

If you leave it on the car and sand and polish it there you'll be fine. If you take it off you run the risk of getting dirt and crap where it don't belong that could be big problems

If you are going to polish it, take it off the car and do the whole thing. While you are at it take the snout off and put a new coupler and oil in it.

You can get a cheap set of new rails from the classifieds on here. I would just for peace of mind.

The bottom right area of the picture...Fuel flows through them into the injectors. The last thing you would want is them springing a leak and gas going all over your hot engine...Get some new ones
