Ignition switch huh? I'll check it out.
Someone was also telling me it could possibly be my alternator? I've tested the battery and it's always full charge and have disconnected the positive while the car was running and it didn't shut off. Should I get that tested as well?

Don't list to the person who told you that. If it were the alternator it would kill the battery in the process and batteries, while slightly regenerative, do not recharge themselves.
And the removal of the cable with the car running is a valid test, but its not highly recommended unless you are 100% sure of what you are doing. The reason is that doing that can cause a voltage spike and damage sensitive electrical components.
