on a side note having that blue mirror off my car and the black one back on, well the blue one was killing me.

BTW, the blue ....if your car was optioned for it was for autodimming.

I'd take and look under the dash at the actuators. Then change th etemp to the opposite (with car up to temp) and watch the actuator for a full minute. They can take up to 40 seconds to move.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

my rear view was, it leaked out, and had been opened up and cleaned out. never saw any dimming in the side views tho. they both had the same plug and wires in the same places too, and i think the blue one came off a century.

how deep do i have to go to see the actuators? just remove the kick covers off the bottom of the dash? i've pulled the heater core out before and dont recall seeing any.

and have you ever seen a climate control act up after reconnecting the battery? or do they just seem to work fine for everyone else in the world? im really thinking its the climate control unit its self.
