Just bought a 99 GTP and the guy that had it before did a few mods.

    3.3 pully
level 1 ZZP cpu with cat delete
    3 inch down pipe
    msd wires
    fenderwall intake
    gatorback belt
    180 t-stat
    i think colder plugs
    cat and resonator gone
and a butchered up exhaust with 3inch mufflers.

I am adding headers when i replace trans.

My question: Can I get away with that pully or should I get a 3.4?

Also how much KR is absolutly too much? Obviously 0 is best but what can i get way with before it gets dangerous?

I would pull the heads and check the tops of the pistons none of the mods listed would let you run a 3.3.

You don't have to pull the heads to know the condition of the pistons...granted the guy prior didn't change the plugs after the pulley swap. If he didn't...yank the plugs...if the tips are gone or bent...then you have bottom end issues already.

    3.3" is too small...try a stock pulley or a 3.5"

I'll scan it Tuesday when i'm back to work. According to the kid he just put the pully on before the transmission went.

A car can have 0 KR but only be running 12* of timing. Thats not a good running car.
