    does the car feel sluggish while turning? do you have a lot of play in the wheel before the car turns?

    I would jack the front end up and shake the tires left and right. if you feel a little give, you have bad tie rods. outters are more than likely to go before the inners.....

    if you shake the wheel up and down..and here is play...you will need a new hub assembly. as he bearings are wearing down

    no sluggish or excess play . but to be 100% certian i will check tommorrow . at least for those drive characteristics.

    new info . i now feel easily a clunk / looseness with my front end with my hand on the steering wheel and feel it with my feet on gas pedal maybe even floor. defintely feel threw the sterring wheel it and hear it just has easy.

    during highway driving you do not realise anything because highways too smooth and during city driving big bumps make the suspension work more thus you do not reall feel or hear it . just during minor road inperfections and the slower the driving i supose to. it felts left or right turning and going straight and backing up.

    to me i would think this would be an easy dianoses at the dealer aspecaily where i have felt it at one of there the exist of the lot .

    but why do i feel they are either going to tell me the same thing they did with my gt with similar problem that the problem is with in specs no repair need or can be done under warranty ,or that they would just throw grease at the problem. thus it likely would come back and possibliy get worse in time.

    can you guys be more detail as to these steering shaft and power steering rack problems you earlier mention. thus i can maybe help them know what to look for and so i do not sound un-knowledgeable thus them trying to bs me in thinking nothing can be done or no problem there.

    i do not know if my problem is the steering shaft or the rack problem or something esle just be vibrated threw the steering wheel and pedal.

    i was getting a clunking noise and feel threw the floor and pedals and steering wheel of car . you could find it turning and going straight. slow speeds and NOT so ruff road conditions it appeared . turns out they replaced my >> E7700 intermediate steering shaft. part number # 25913680.... i guess normally $170 cdn dollar part ????

    next is to get rid of heavy steady ping under load / loaded car with weight . like me , 2 winter tires with steel rims accross back seat and 2 more side by side in the trunk. 215/60/16 size.

    i have been running last 2 fill top line 91 octane gas . with one small bottle of STP octane boost / cleaner in first ESSO tank .

    2nd tank ( now still 3/4 full ) is SHELL high octane gas with 150ml bottle or gasline anti freeze / water remover.

    that shell 91 octane tank is still 3/4 full so not sure if they will hear ping tommorrrow ( UNLESS ) they load the car up. because you rarely and barely heard it with out a load in car.... what do you guys think about the ping thing kilometers only 48025
