I've got an oppurtunity to buy a used Hulkspeed front ported exhaust manifold for about 50$. It has 25k miles on it.

From my research it seems that the zzp powerlog is worth the extra money. Because there really isnt much you can port anyway. The zzp powerlog is like $220 shipped also, which is crazy (but more power to them).

    What do you guys think?

If you have the money, go with the new 304 steel one from zzp.

If your broke and want to gamble with used parts, go with the $50

Just about every single part that I have bought for my GTP is used, it's not really much of a gamble IMO.

Go with a used powerlog, they are selling used for around $100 if not less. Don't bother with the stainless one either it's a waste of money IMO. If you're really worried about the plog cracking than maybe you'd justify the extra cash, but to me it's unnecessary.

They both suck. Get headers or stay with the stockers.

well i've got a 50$ credit towards zzp for turning in my stock downpipe and zoomer said they have some things planned for black friday. we'll see. Its so gay that that has to be so much. and for headers I would want to buy a decent set, so your talking like 800$ or something. a new front manifold and then drop in the 3.6 and then im moving to more suspension mods for next spring.

SS Autochrome headers (SLP knockoffs) are pretty good for the money, and they're only like $350 shipped for a brand new set.

It's a common issue with the first gen Plog. Current editions (stainless or not) no longer have the issue.

I agree w/ Street Wolf. Get headers or stick with stock unless you're planning on doing a turbo.

If you have to have something, get the $50 hulkspeed piece. Alot better than wasting you money on a p-log which will give you minimal to no gains. That money is half a set of some real headers which will kick the powerlog or PEMs ass any day of the week.
