I am in the middle of changing my Dp and I was wondering how I remove the O2 Sensor. I need to get them off so I can pull the pipe off. I plan on finishing this up tomorrow morning so any help is appreciated.
Thanks

A lot of times, WD-40 or PB Blaster and a large crescent wrench will get the job done. If you can't get to it that way, your favorite parts store should have a few options on O2 sensor wrenches that are fairly inexpensive.
Does it just pull out or does it spin out? I tried to spin it a bit but the wires seemed to stop it.
Ok. I used a pair of pliers and wiggled it loose so it would spin a little bit. The wires from the O2 Sensor?
The whole thing should come out, wires and all, if it can be loosened with pliers, it was way too loose to begin with
Ok thanks guys. I think I am going to go out right now and try to get it pulled out.
I really didn't think I would get many answers this quickly this late at night but thank you to everyone who responded.
Ya not sure you were able to get the O2 sensor out yet, but i just did my DP last week and i was able to get it off with just a cresent wrench. though i did it a bit differently and disconnected the stock DP first from the engine area and the cat back. Then i disconnected the O2 sensor. (there are 2 little plastec pieces that hold it in line under the heat sheild you'll have to pop out, then if you gently pull on the wire you should get enought slack to disconnect the O2 terminal). With the DP out and the o2 sensor disconnected, its so much easier to unscrew the actual sensor from the pipe.
Buy yourself one of these...
Doesn't cost that much and will make your job, and future removals/installations much easier. Wrench works great as well though.
It still isn't out. Where can I find that tool Street?
I picked up the socket today before work so I will see how it goes when I get home tonight.
Rather than starting a new thread... I suppose I'll expand on this one:

I am replacing my oxygen sensor tomorrow, but have never done it before. I would feel a lot more comfortable doing it with a step by step instruction. It's the front sensor in the engine bay. I'm assuming I just disconnect battery, unscrew the sensor, and replace it? A step by step would reassure me.
Thanks.

Bosch FTL. Delco or Denso, most people find Bosch to be worse than than the very well used stock sensor they're replacing.
The sensor is easier to get to if you rock the engine forward like you do for plugs, but you don't have to. Otherwise, yeah, just unplug, unscrew, and replace.
