Any throttle while turning causes a fairly significant vibration in the 01GTP I just resurrected (full motor/trans swap).

Axles were on the car before hand, and had no issues....

The trans mount is a ZZP poly unit... I imagine it may be causing some of the idle vibration I have (along with the motor being fairly fond of misfiring right now).

The motor mount is new off a 05 (I figured they looked pretty much the same).

The trans itself is completely an unknown, could have any number of issues, the motor/trans came out of a car that was hit in the front.

Poly mounts will have a ton of vibration(this is basically what I've heard from several people)

The donor car from which the trans came from was hit in the front end?? Don't think there would be much that would have been thrown off inside the trans... Maybe Bill will chime in here

I can rip it in a straight line, and it feels great.. but I get on it a bit going around an onramp, and the more gas I give, the harder it shakes.

Ever had the cover off the diff housing? Ive exploded a diff before and they shake pretty good before the pin causes the diff to explode when they come out.

May check the diff soon.. I imagine it would be bad news if I ever did a 1wheel peel? (yes I sorta want to test it via a burnout)

Could have shredded the gears in it.

I had that issue when running some MT E/T's on the stock trans...right wheel let go and the left one didn't move, I ended up toasting it.

Sounds like an axle from my experience. Especially the on ramp mention. Was either axle floppy at the CV's?
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

No, both were in the car when I got it... they were behind a perfectly normal and functioning turbo setup for awhile....

I may have damaged them during the trans removal.. I was not nice to the pass side axle as I took the motor/trans out the top, together....
