I put the key in the ignition, but it happens to be locked and will not turn at all. The wheel itself is in the lock position too, anyone have this problem?

try to turn the wheel, jiggle it back and fourth while trying to turn the key. sometimes they tend to lock up the whole assembly if the wheels are being held like on a hill while the front wheels are turned, its all about the wheel lock, ive had this happen to other cars in the past.
Happens quite a bit to me. +1 on Scottydoggs idea. Works for me all the time.
tried wiggling steering wheel but had a problem getting key out previously then all of a sudden they wont turn now
The wheel is locked tight and will not even budge, along with the ignition
can you feel the wheel turn at all? just a little bit, some times you need to push it hard to one side or the other and then try to turn the key.
ive never had a gp wheel off, but they used to have a slide bolt that went into holes in the wheel and locked it, if the cars wheels were turned or on hill putting pressure on the steering wheel the key would not turn till you turned the wheel off the lock so it would be free to slide back out of the wheel.
are you on flat ground with the wheels straight?
could try to jack the front end up, that may loosen up the lock in the steering wheel.
thanks i will try this and get back to you!
no luck , its like seized up
