Im going to go ahead and buy these. I cannot pass them up; however they are used with 12k on them, not new like I thought. I have inspected them and they look new though. This, and the ported TB I want will help greatly with the times Im trying to achieve. If I cant get a ported TB like today or tomorrow, I guess I will have Reptile do mine. I already sent him a PM and am awaiting a response. Anyone got a ported TB just lying around???Ha ha

I know it wont much, but I think I need it to match the ported case, and a little quicker throttle repsonse. Every little bit helps, maybe a 1/10th of a second??? Who knows, but I would rather buy one already done.

typically what most people do with stock TB's is remove most of the MAF hump.

    You're better off doing a N* swap.

    Ratio will matter.

if they're 1.9 or higher you should get some L76 valve springs.

If they are higher than 1.80:1...you really need valve springs.

If you don't buy them...youz be a dummy

Deys 1.9's. DEF getting new valve springs from ZZP. Think they were 79.99 or something close to that. If I remove them the valve will fall, I know. I can use my compression tester to hold them up, right?

    yup.

you'll want LS1 style valve spring retainers as well.

90lb springs, 1.9 rockers, valve cover gasket(s), new rocker bolts (reusable) and retainers and oh yeah, assembly oil. Sound dandy or what?

    no.

    don't buy their springs.

    Buy these:

    http://paceperformance.com/i-5131080...ve-spring.html

You can do better on pricing from rock auto i believe.

torque paste for the rocker bolts, but no assy lube required.

Even ZZP's LS6 springs are overpriced...

    http://paceperformance.com/i-6255315...set-of-16.html

And thats for 16, not the 12 that ZZP will send you.

so get 12 of those either from your link or rock auto. Speaking of RA, I actually bought my front oxygen sensor from them yesterday . It was an "Ultra Performance" for 27 bucks including shipping. I hope that it works well.

Most places sell them in packages of 5 so you will probably end up with 15.
