Ok, I know 90% of people would probably say get a cam, but I have a chance to get a set of Yella Terra RR's for a 100 bucks NIB. My car is running in the low 14's.....bout' 14.2. Here are some questions that you FINE people have better knowledge and understanding to answer better than I. I want only (I say that like its easy without the $$$) to get to about 13.5 or maybe 13.2. It is a DD that goes 80 round trip almost daily. questions are.

1.) rocker or cam? rockers way easier as it relates to install and cheaper too.
2.)Will have a ported TB in the next two weeks regardless of which way i go; rockers or a cam.
3.) currently have a 3.4 pulley. Can I drop to a 3.25 with the rockers or cam either way. I'm going to have to car scanned before and after to detect KR. I have 103's but I think they are to cold, going 104's unless you think I should stay with the 103's with the soon to be TB ported and the cam or rockers.
4.) Im leaning toward rockers, if I do this, what elese should I replace while im there other than the valve cover gaskets and the rockers? Springs?
5.) Can I flip the dog bones even though I have poly mounts?
6.) Why do we park on 'driveways' and drive on 'Parkways'?
7.) Will rockers and the TB get me to mid 13's? I know nobody can say for sure, just looking for insight.
Thanks again for the thoughts and for all my aggrevating questions.

thats a big ask for even a cam, I don't think you will get anywhere near that with just rockers, so that being said go with a cam. Plus cam is just so much cooler but you would still see good gains out of the rockers.

You say your having the car scanned for kr...are you having it tuned? A good tune will be key in getting good gains.

I also see your located in ohio I might suggest looking in to having your rockers or cam installed at prj. If not installed there I would still reccomend getting paul to tune it for you

If money and time are not an issue, then I would say cam, but at that price, I would jump on the rockers and add an intercooler later on. A good tune and driver mod are key to getting the times you want.

I already have a 3800 performance tune, I want a real tune though, one customized for my car. I would hope that the ported TB and rockers would at least put me in the 13's.

You should be hitting 13s with the 3.4 set up and a good tune. If they are stock ratio rockers I will give ya 125 for them right meow.

With the rockers, if its scanned, can I go to the 3.3 or a 3.25 pulley? Like my pistons un-chipped, hence the reason for said question

    I vote in-car wideband tune.

You should be able to pull of 13's with your setup.

Have to remember that regals are a bit heavier. Do you know what ratio the YT rockers are? For $100 i would definitely jump on them since a cam will cost at least 5x more. That and an in-car tune should get you close to where you want to be.

DA= density altitude. like how high above sea level you are. It has a big impact on 1/4 times.

    Thats 0.124 seconds.

You're more than that far away from your goal.

Jump on the rockers if they're high ratio.

And an in car tune and you should be good.
