Ya!!!! FIGURED IT OUT! It really was simple. I'm not that good at fixing cars and I fixed this without even fully removing my dash. It was the dang headlight multi switch to the left of the steering wheel on the dash. The switch is like $150 but easy to change by gently pulling the driver side dash back to create room enough to unplug the wire plug and wiggle the switch out. The part has a warranty too. When I replaced it, the fast door chime went away, daytime running lights and tail lights started working again, and the dash lights started working again! Do this job YOURSELF! I had a shop quote me like $750 to fix this. I also encourage everyone to post fix it's on YouTube. Lets all save money right? I'll try and post a how to on YouTube in the near future about this. Again, I drive a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix SE with a 3.1L v6. This fix was easy. Just a headache figuring out the cause. Also, check your fuses after you change it out. I had to replace a fuse in the box under the hood that went out when the part went out. It was a yellow one and I can't exactly remember which one so just pull them out and check them. Hope this helps someone.
