    It would always leak for me if I didn't let it dry some and then torq it down more to seal.

    Weird...

    I clean them. toss the new stat in, a little rtv and torque it down. Fire it up and refill immediately.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Its funny, a few weeks ago my thermo housing would leak a lil fluid everyday and im thinking damn i have to replace the o-ring gasket.nope.i went to advance auto and bought some water pump/thermostat liquid gasket and put it on.now no more leaks
    04 GTP-3.6 pulley, custom tuned, Intake, headers,thrush exhaust, al104 plugs, 180* stat, shift kit, flipped mounts
