What should I look for when shopping for a new cat? Also how difficult are we talking on installing one. I know they make the direct bolt on ones or the slip on ones. What should I look for. I have the neweg gen btw 2005 GTP

Will do. Said cats washcoat has already been tested on our test car at work (04 GP GT). So if I get it its all a matter of fitting the prototype which most likely means just some cutting and welding in place.

I bought a Bosal cat from rock auto. 175 shipped and just put it on tonight. Deletes the u bend and everything, straight bolt in. In my case it was more like cut off then new bolt in but you get the idea. Sounds nicer and seems to have improved my power and mileage.

    For a 175 bucks...I'd get a ZZP Downpipe.

Also...screw emissions...buy a "converter" from Frozen Boost for like 30 bucks. Who needs a cat?
