Does the car start then stall? If so, you need a resistor, not a pump.

Beyond that, consider the TREPerformance pump.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Ok, there is a way to test that correct? sometimes when I turn the key on the pump will prime, and other times it will not. Also where is the best place to buy a resistor if I can test that and verify it is the problem? Thanks in Advance

I have seen this problem. The pump will prime but when the car is started the fuel pressure drops off. I thought it was a pump at first. To check this the resistor is under the battery in the fender area. It's just a ceramic resistor with two wires if I remember right. Just wire the leads together and start the car. If it runs for a long period without loosing pressure you are golden. The pump normally runs on 9 volts but 12 volts direct isn't going to hurt it for the short time. If you want to replace it GM makes a relocation kit so it can get some air. For the GM fuel pump resistor relocation kit, call Grand Auto at 1-800-571-0020 and order part number 88951182. The kit runs about $30 plus shipping.
