On the back side of my engine(firewall side), closest to the drivers side theres a small metal hose coming out from the headers which then runs into a cylindrical piece(egr Valve?) however, where it meets the headers the line is dented and leaks at the seal. Is this harmful? I've had it for a while and didn't think anything of it, but lately the tick of the exhaust leak had really been getting to me. It doesn't seem like that hard of a fix i'd just like to know what i'm dealing with. Thanks

sounds like the egr tubes, mine leak as someone took them off and flattened the ends. It won't hurt much, but mileage suffers, so I bet it causes you to run a bit rich
