As for the ZZP issue. I have read accounts and helped out a lot of people on the other forum. Too many to count ran into problems with the trans, DIC, timing, DTC, etc soon after installing a ZZP PCM. Most of them, the issues went away when they went back to a stock PCM, or got a new one from ZZP. Again, can't say 100% for sure that ZZP PCMs are bad, but I know I wouldn't use them.

The only problem I had with my ZZP PCM was that its settings are harsh for 04+ transmissions. I took it back out and its sitting in a box. Someday I'll hook it up, pull the ZZP file to look at and see what they do to it, and keep the PCM around as a spare.

I started out with an Intense PCM = it was ok
Then Rob Archer custom tuned my Intense PCM = much better
ZZP PCM, in the car for about 10 mintunes = horrible, got a refund.
A couple of custom tunes. = very good.

My son has an Overkill custom PCM in his 99GTP = highly recommended

IMO Overkill, is the only mail order PCM to consider.

i originally had a DHP, my dyno guy couldnt read it so i bought an Intense pcm because they use HP tuners. now i have the ZZP pcm because of my M90 kit. best bet is to pick up an intense pcm and get a custom dyno tune from a reputable shop. dont go to some guy whos gunna charge you $300 for a "street tune", put it on the dyno and give it hell.
