I was driving my 04 GTP home last night when all of a sudden the traction light came on and the gauges stopped working. the speedometer was still working. I shut the car off and restarted it and it was fine. Has anybody ever seen this before? And if so what causes this?

crankshaft position sensor for sure.

I've had that problem before. And I've seen it happening to other people with 04+ GPs more and more often recently. I can't really say what caused it. Mine went away after I replaced the battery, but I highly doubt that could be the cause.

Thanks for the info. I am going to check it out hopefully it is something simple.
