Well, my car has been leaking oil for a while and I wasn't ok with that, but I had no money to fix it. Now is getting worse to the point where you can smell burned oil. if I get under, is soaking wet on oil, looks like its coming from the right side (passanger side) of the engine, not the very bottom, like from the middle of the engine, I don't think the oil pain is leaking but may be one of the problems too. So I guess I need to start looking really serious a good shop but it sucks that I'm broke (I'm always broke lol) have any of you guys got their car fixed of a problem similar to this? how much did you spend? my car is worth 1,800 dlls (according to blue book) if I spend 1,000 that sucks. but its worth it I guess since the car is running fine and I can't afford to buy a newer one haha

First get some good cleaner/degreaser and clean off all the sludge and junk so you can actually see where the oil is coming from. Have you had the valve cover gaskets replaced under the recall yet? Clean it up and find out where it's coming from take pics if needed and we should at least be able to tell ya what's leaking then give you a good idea on cost or tell you how to fix it yourself if your up for it.

check the sensor by the oil filter,(low oil pressure sensor) mine just blew out again, it leaks oil real fast when it goes bad, and the whole under side of the car gets wet when it leaks, its a 12 dollar sensor if thats whats bad.

to check it you can turn the wheels to the left and look behind the pass side wheel at the oil filter, the sensor is right past the filter, with wires clipped on to it. oil will be leaking out where the wires plug in to it. if thats it.

def get some de greaser and clean up everything then keep an eye on it till you can narrow down the leak source.

I changed the oil sensor today, I just need to wait to see if that was the problem, if its not, that was part of the problem cause I know for sure it was leaking, I checked it we'll see what happens

recalls are for the valve cover gasket on the front side only, and depending where you car was built the rack and pinion is a recall too, my rack went out and my vin was not on the recall list. i called GM to find out.
