I am currently in the market for an intercooler. Just need some advice on which one would work best for my 2000 GTP. I have upgraded PCM, CAI, and that's pretty much it. It's also lowered and has the SD Ram Air hood. I have been reading about people not getting the clearance they need after the install to close their hood. Don't want that to be me!! I was looking at the Stage II from ZZP. Anyone heard anything about it? I am all ears for any advice on this or any other intercoolers!! I also have no plans to stop modifying my GTP anytime soon either. I want it to be one BAD@ZZ ride one day. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated.

Get the WBS Intercooler Install Kit, and the phenolic core that sseilmnop sells Here, it's cheaper, thinner, and less heat conductive. All around a better deal, hands down.

That's a pretty good bit cheaper. How long has it been around? Do you or anyone else on here use it?

These newer phenolic cores are fairly new, and I don't know of anyone running them except the seller: sseilmnop. He could give you more info about his cores, but if you just read the whole thread and description, it's pretty self explanatory; also, read the thread for who placed orders and PM them to pick their brains.
And I like them over at WBS,they do a better job than the crew at ZZP, and they've been doing this for at least five years, so I try to support their endeavors.

No biggy man; that's what the forums are for!
If I was going to put a transmission in mine, I would do this too, but for a daily, a 3.4 setup is good enough, at least until I get rid of a couple other projects.

Yup yup. Gotta keep them priorities in check. I have been eying the GTP aftermarket for about 4 years now. I have been traveling around because of work for those years though. So, since I am back in the states and will be here for a while and I wanna so some mods. My goal is to have one cool car and beat the pants off all the guys that spend 60 grand and up on cars. lol

Turbo then. Snails are better bang for your buck than any other form of FI.

A friend of mine's old car. Cam only L32 with Fullsize and built tranny, and the usual supporting stuff for an E85, 2.55 Gen V build. Heads never came off the car, LIM only came off for the cam install. Not really all that expensive if you do it all in one round.
If you slowly upgrade, however, it will get expensive.
This platform is not ideal, but it is still fairly cheap to get fast.
Marc goes by Boostd1 on a lot of different forums, and is very knowledgeable.
