if you find a place that sells factory replacement connecting rod bolts, let me know. if you're just rebuilding it, you probably won't touch 5k. if i could find new bolts, i could get gaskets and rebuild a stock motor for roughly 1500. if you have 5k to spend, just drop it off at a machine shop and tell them to make it new again. everything comes back clean, balanced, and practically new. have your heads ported, run a bigger cam/stronger springs/double roller timing set and an intercooler. or don't intercool, and spend what you have left on a new transmission. and then you're close to 7k... maybe. and you're running 11's
