Are they serious groves? Or just visual?

As in, can you feel them?

Because it sounds like a lack of air filter.

i'd look over the rotors to look for signs of flaking of the coating.

Other than that I really wouldnt worry about it as long as the groves don't protrude the rest of the case.

I.e. can come into contact with the rotors.

most the scratches arent very wide but deep enough to be felt a bit, ill have to look again in the morning at my rotors but iirc it looked as tho they had carbon build up im not sure what the coating looks like. and if thats it im sure its starting to go cus on the needle bearing ends i remeber them being relatively clean.

if the coating is gone will it hurt performance or will it still be fine, if i need to replace them where can you get new rotors

i forgot, about the buildup of what looks like carbon on the rotors will leaving this be fine because i fear that if i clean it all off ill lose some boost

if you've got carbon build up on the rotors then you're good.

Generally the carbon sticks to the teflon coating.

Leave the carbon on. both the rotors and the casing. It's helping to seal them to the casing. As for the grooves. Pics please. Usually a few grooves are normal.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

do not touch the insides of the case or the rotors.

also, my case was grooved to hell and still made 14 pounds of boost. i'd leave it alone.
