I have a vibration in the front end of my GP. I have replaced tie rods (which I knew were bad), wheel bearing hubs (also knew these were bad), put new tires on the car, and had it aligned as well. I checked the ball joints and they're a-okay.

My question is, since I am sill having the vibration problem, is this most likely my CV joints that are shot? It doesn't vibrate much at lower speeds, but it does on the interstate especially when accelerating.

55 to 60 usually is the worst ... both for sound and vibration

Is it normal for the CV joint to clank if you jack the car up and rotate the tire back and forth?

noooo its not normal for the wheel to do anything other than spin with a light load due to the transmission.

    When accelerating?

Could also be bad factory fluid filed motor mounts and there is enough give at that point in the powerband that your exhaust is coming into contact with something else making that vibration.

I had bad axles plenty of times...and unless they are perfect...they made noises all the time...I'd have to turn left or turn right to make them shut up at any speed.
