ok I am not sure how to explain this, but when I am backing up mostly when I am backing out of my friends driveway that is at an angle, I hear this crunching kind of noise out of my drivers side front end. I am wondering what it is. I already had the front assembly replaces on that side and it still does it. Is it possibly just the brake pads adjusting as the rotor turns? I replaced my brake pads, but not the rotors so I am wondering if they are warped that maybe I am just hearing my brakes adjust to the warp. Anyone know?

    strut mounts are plausible.

I hear squeaks all the time doing a similar thing.

Factory struts yet new sway bar links and LCA's.

To be quite honest, you wont know until you get the car up and take a look to see whats going on under there.

get the front end bouncing. if it doesnt make the noise it NEARLY rules out struts, cushions, and most of the bushings on the control arm.

its not my struts, It only does it when I am backing up, and 99 percent of the time as I am backing down a driveway with an angle. I have bounced the front end and nothing happens

sounds like brakes or transmission. check your fluid level after a drive with the car running and in park.

Tranny is full. Its burnt but its full. I am assuming the brakes since the rotors are warped.
