    Yea, could be the resistor in the fan switch. Hook a volt meter up to the wire side of the connection to the motor (the wire coming from the switch) and slowly turn the switch from off to high. Test it in Ohms to see if there are any opens in the resistor, and the resistance should go down as you get to higher speeds. I'm unsure of what the readings should be though. Can't help you there.

    Resistor in the fan switch. This would be in the dash, correct?
