    I want to know how the exhaust sounds and see if the hv3 is worth it or if i should just do a cam and tune

    a cam is going to blow the hv3 out of the water for power gains.

    Combined...they rock.

    I did a GT1, HV3 with Plog setup for a guy. Woke the car right up.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    What about a cam tune and hv3? Will like and xp cam can I do just a cam swap or do I have to change other stuff?

    You need other stuff. For example I always change springs with any cam/rocker setup. Valve seals are nice while you are there. Retainers go with the springs.

    So you are in for springs, reusable rocker bolts, valve seals, gaskets and cam or rockers. Then you'll want exhaust to handle the new flow. SD headers are probably the best value at the moment.
