I forget where I read it but if you remove the right headlight you can get to it pretty easily from there, which is how I replaced my OEM one several weeks ago. The grommet the pump slides into was a tremendous PITA but the pump itself was a piece of cake.

Taking the light out also is a great way to get at the coolant level sensor.
