So I scanned my car a couple of weeks ago and about eight codes came up but the main ones I was concerned about was the mass air flow sensor, I changed that then this week my car started jerking and rpm would bounce up and down or would drop to zero I tried to figure out what could cause that nd the crankshaft sensor can cause that I scanned my car a couple days ago and crankshaft came up I changed the sensor yesterday it worked for a couple hours then my rpm gauge stopped working again I scanned it this morning and the crankshaft is coming up again! Anybody kno what the problem could be??

Bad ground or one of the wires on it might be cut or damaged? I'd check that...maybe it didn't get plugged in all the way?

Now when you say bad ground where would I check that at?? Do you think my sound system being hooked up wrong could cause any of this??

Yea the mechanic reset it... But the check engine light came back on after ten min cuz there is a few other sensor I need to replace but they said those other sensors have nothing to do with the rpms

How many sensors are out? You may have an electrical issue goin on if you have a bunch that are out.

Please give us the whole story. Trying to diagnose pieces and bits is much tougher than knowing the whole situation.

Common things like grounds or a fuse might not be suggested if you only ask about one part of the puzzle at a time.

Here the codes that come up when its scanned... Heated oxygen sensor 1 and 2, evaporative emission system, crank shaft position sensor, (man. Absolute pressure)/baro or maf(mass air flow).... Basically my problem now is rpm gauge stopped working and I changed the cranksahft sensor yesterday and mass air flow sensor last week...

Those aren't codes. You are giving us general sensor names.

If you ask me what all those items have in common, it's the grounds at the front lower bolt of the transmission. Should be the neg battery cable, and two black wires hooked up there. I'd take them off, ensure they are clean and in good overall shape. You have nearly every sensor on the engine tossing a code... that's typically something else causing the issue. Ground/Power and the PCM are the three things in common with all those sensors. I'd start at the grounds like mentioned.
