    i dont believe it does anything...you dont have to do a case learn when you drop a new motor in your car that the computer hasnt seen before so why would you have to do one with a newly tuned pcm on the original motor? if that was the case wouldnt you need a relearn after every new sensor you put in?

    A CASE relearn is an advanced way for the car to detect misfires, based on the relationship of the cam position sensor to crankshaft position sensor. Anytime you permanently intend to install a PCM that did not come directly out of your car, you need a CASE relearn
