P0141 - This code means that the heated circuit in the oxygen sensor on bank 1 decreases time needed to enter closed loop. As the O2 heater reaches operating temperature, the oxygen sensor responds by switching according to oxygen content of the exhaust surrounding it. The ECM tracks how long it takes for the oxygen sensor to begin switching. It the ECM determines (based on coolant temp) that too much time elapsed before the oxygen sensor began operating properly, it will set P0141.

SO my questions is what do I do about that?

P0507 - Which is too high of a idle.

What do I do about that? I changed the TPS a couple times a while ago when I was having problems with my MAP.

Think its a bad TPS? or should I look into the tune? I have a tuner.

    Help is appreciated.

I googled both just would much rather see if other have experienced this in the past..

log TPS percent at idle, Should be able to figure out if thats the issue pretty quickly
Heater circut usually is from a bad 02 sensor in my experiance. But it could also be a pinched/bad wire. What idle are you commanding?

Not a stock tune at all considering I am a topswapped engine. The Idle settings in tune are all set to stock though.

In recent logs I've looked at it shows up like a .34 idle percent every once in a while when not hitting the gas.. would it really cause a code like that.. Its never a constant .34 or whatever it was.

Carb cleaner, Gum cutter. What ever. Clean inside the bore as best you can, and all around the spring. They get pretty gunky

Nah I ran mine there aswell. I didnt have any issues. 02's heater code is usually the sensor failing itself.

Id be surprised if cleaning the IAC doesnt do the trick.

If all that doesn't clear your high idle, remove the cruise cable from the TB, check idle..then remove the throttle cable. Does the issue go away with either cable?

Mess with the loop de loop of throttle and cruise cables that GM put on the dumbuyah body strut tower. Been there..fixed that..lol
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

You know what? Honestly even though my car is throwing that code the idle isn't even that high so thats why I get confused but today after class im going to mess with it.

I was trying to hook up my tuner and the damn box wouldn't even turn on to connect to my car.. no clue why as of now

If the idle circuit is fluctuating, it could be a short somewhere in the wires too. The PCM knows when the throttle blade is closed even when the circuit has a spike in the voltage. Hence the code.
Curtis had this problem, and it turned out that one of his TPS wires was rubbed through somewhere in the harness. Took almost 2 years to find.
