Okay so i have an oil pressure gauge and i understand that i have to take out the oil pressure sensor on my block ad replace it with the adapter that came in the kit...but what i was curious about is when i unhook the factory sensor wont that send a code to my pcm and make my check engine light come on or is there a way around it?!?

Also i have a boost gauge and i'm not 100 percent sure where the T-fitting taps into to read the boost!

Thanks for all the help in advance!

Put the boost near the Map Sensor.

auto parts stores sell a "T" fitting so you can hook both up if you want to, the one i bought had pics to follow if you wanted to go this route. that way the idiot light still works, but lets face it by the time the light turns on its already to late.

from what i understand the best place to hook the boost gauge is the "T" under the snout of the blower..

Was it really necessary to put exlaimations after the title?

Like it's been said, leave the oil connector unplugged. I'd suggest taping it up so it doesn't get dirt and water in it.

The best place to T is by the map sensor.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

i concur on the map sensor placement as well. that way the line can continue right into the car.

Ok I do have a dumb question. You guys say that leaving the oil pressure sensor unplugged (stock one) wont do anything. However ive been being told that that metric is used by the ecm itself. Does this have any truth so if its unplugged reading nothing will the car run different. (granted hes a TA owner who has never worked on the prix)
