i used grabbits when i worked construction. same concept only you chuck them into a drill. if all else fails "turn" that screw into a flathead with a hammer and a screwdriver. takes time but its usually the best answer for torx screws.

For stubborn things like that I use a small chisel. Go to an edge of the bolt and hammer straight at the bolt to make a good indent. Then angle the chisel so that when you hit it..you'll hit in a counter clockwise direction. Typically this will loosen them up enough to come right out.
