    ZZP
    3800Performance
    WBODY

I don't know of others. Those 3 are about the same price. Any others better for mail order tunes?

The process I am going to do is get a mail order tune from someone that knows the GTP (4-2 and 3-1 shifts, 40mph lag, etc) Then I am going to get a dyno tune off of that from my local shop to make sure the air/fuel is perfect.

    Thanks in advance,

    Tim

I wouldn't waste the money if you're dyno tuning anyway. They can also change shift points when you have it dyno tuned.

you can have your shift points raised regardless. Stock valve train 5800 is good. Just get it tuned by someone who knows what there doing

Stay on point guys. Which tune is better. I have a shop in the local area that will do dyno tuning for 100 an hour so I just need to make sure my Air/fuel is right.

i don't understand? you want a canned pcm just to take to a tuner and have it tuned again?

most aftermarket pcms don't have the right tranny tables adjusted which you really need adjusting to. If your buying a pcm for just some skip shifts, to me, that would be a waste of money. You don't really want skip shifts to begin with.

honestly, i would just make a post in the regional section, on here and cgp, you could probably get a better tune by a local, that has a tuner and has been doing it for a while, for way cheaper.

if you still decide to go the mail-order route 3800 performance's pcm is great.
