So I've been trying to decide whether I want to sink more money into the GP or get another car (like maybe a GTP similar year model since that wouldn't cost me much more).

Here's my parts list for the GP as of now:
    1. Window regulators [pass. window is fail, drive is slow. the colder the worse]
    2. Passenger tail light [plastic piece busted and missing]
    3. Power steering pump [see below]
    4. A/C Condenser [busted=no air]
    5. Rear struts [replaced the fronts a week ago]
    6. Front bumper cover [mine is busted and scratched]

So I also want to buy HV3 insert to get a little more umph.

The question is, sink more money and fix up the GP or stop now and prepare to trade for another GP and pay the minor difference whenever I get the money built up?

Or I need some prioritization of that list up there of what I should buy with my tax money.

Rear struts are really pricey and might take my whole return, and they are not my priority. But I can see how I would need to replace them as I did the front.
Also, many of those things up there are season dependent and I'm afraid the pump might be on its way out. Either a pump or a line but since I'm no guru, I'm gonna guess pump. It intermittently grinds at idle in drive and whines all the time (but not too loud just enough you can hear when revving). Fluid is fresh and perfectly full
Rear tail light still works though but it's not that attractive with a piece missing lol.

Basically where should I spend my tax money in accordance with priority need?

Power steering pump you should fix asap. Check the fluid, maybe do a flush and see if it helps. I remember my power steering pump was whining. Turned out i needed some fluid. I think youre fine with the rears for now if u dont have the money, since u did the front.

AC and Regulators you should do before summer since its gonna get HAWT. Rest is visual, so doesnt matter. Function > form.

Yea, I did a flush. I sucked the fluid out with a handy turkey baster and put fresh in it.

And as far as the pump, I can't be sure if it's the pump or a line. Dad suggested it could be a line squeezing up or something idk. I don't even know how to check the lines and all that ish.

OMG a turkey baster? Is that all they do for 80 bucks? I thought when they "flushed" the system, they got ALL the old fluid out of the lines and the receptacle and added new fluid. If you got all of it with a turkey baster, I'm gonna definitely do that. Where do you start that procedure

You can do that but it will take time before you replace most of the fluid.

"flush" means machine inline and flush or drain and fill.

what i did basically was suck it all out of the reservoir with the turkey baster. then refill with new, drive it a while, and repeat until it all comes clear. thats my version of a flush.
why pay somebody if you can use some handy utensils and be patient with it?
