Sure will man. I'm slowly learning all this computer stuff. Just figured you be able to help get me started in the right direction with what I have so far. Thanks again for everything. I'm going to try and get some pics of the car up shortly. Trying to figure out how to put the mods list at the bottom of the posts. Goes back to the still learning.

regarding the sigs- go to the home page.top left click ''user cp''.under settings and options on the left click ''edit signature''.Put the sigs that you have.Thats it!....You are only allowed a certain amount of space...I belive im at my limit. So as long as it's not longer than what i have in my sig...you will be fine...also the words or sigs have to be seperated by something besides just a space...i used the squiglys...look around at other ppls sigs to see what other things can be used.

Let us know if ya have anything else we can help ya with!!

The spacer for the tb that you speak of...is that the one made for nitrous....or just a normal t/b spacer that was drilled?
just pay for shipping and its yours..lol. I have no use for it. all my other cars have LS1 TB's on them...and this is too small of a bore for those.

it is a nice Thrasher nitrous spacer. it has thrasher engraved in the metal....looks nice!

HEY TDC, I forgot to ask you, are you tuning the stock PCM or you have a aftermarket?

100% stock buddy, i was looking into a zzp and a dhp and did a lot of posts with questions about them....and i realized they werent for me...then i looked into intense and as soon as i saw the price i decided on hpt...and never looked back.....if you know exactly what you are going to do to your car...and you are never going to change ANYTHING it may be worth while money wise to go with intense ( after all he knows what he is doing ) but if not your better off getting a tuner.....

And if you do get a tuner you would probably be better off starting with a 1999 bin...

just so happend i have a 99 to start with...you can get them anywhere though....shoot i'll send you my stock one if you want to go that route

My plans are the tuner because it's not going to be throw in a bunch of green and be done with it. Want to tune as I go. Might sound dumb, but what do you mean by a 1999 bin? So, how is everything on your end?

The bin file (or biniary file) is the ''code'' or programing in your pcm. Different cars have different programing...if you own a 97-03 gtp and yours is not already a 1999 then a 99 bin file is a good starting point....

Start reading now....absoultly nothing will make sense when reading this...it's normal tho....you will have to read many many many times before you will even start to understand. Thgen once your tuner is in things will start to come together.

Like i told someone the other day...the words done and grandprix are never in the same sentence lol...

Everything is good on my end just messin with the maf trying to get it right and workin so i can but more stuff for the car lol...once i get the tune 100% i may throw the nos on it or i may have to wait depending on what the money is lookin like, or i may go to the track again and see what it runs now that the tune is straight and i got some new tires

***PARKER*** you have to do your brakes before you go to the track!!! been sayin that for a while now...there bad...trust me lol...they barley work on the street

YEH, I go to their site all the time and read everything over and over. So I'll be able to tell what my bin is once I get the tuner or is there another way to check? I think I might hook up with this guy my friend knows and start doing some mechanic work on the side for some xtra dollars. That way I can put some for my bike fund and dump the rest into ol' girl.

As you can see in the pic, she's getting work done to her here and there. Pay no attention to that crap on the deck lid. Was alright when I did many moons ago, but now I'm going to go with the SD wing. I wanted to get the WS6 hood, but I think I'm going to co with the CF cowl hood. Only 17LBS. 30 lighter than the stocker. If ya want to see more pics, I'm on cardomain under the same name also.

Cool, what ever year car you have...is the bin you have....unless you or someone has tuned it and put another car's bin on there...example- i have a 1999 gtp...I had and still have a 1999 bin file. i can put any bin file from 1997 - 2003 as long as it is a gtp. It's just been peoples prefrence to start with a 1999 bin file.

I can put a 04+ bin file on my pcm also however the car wouldnt run. But, i can put the 04+ low and high octane tables onto my pcm. They are more agressive (more timing) but are a very good start for mpg tuning.

Thanks for giving me props by the way...I appreciate it dude...I will tell you now if you are new to hpt and ask a question they are going to give you a link...to more stuff you dont understand...thats just how they are...so if anything doesent make sense or you just want to shoot me a pm with a random question feel free to do so,,,, I managed to get ahold of someone like this (eddie) and he helped me a lot. As well as everybody else on hpt. But i feel as if they dont want to help you untill you are at a certian point in knowledge about tuning....maybe thats good maybe it's bad...I am the kind of person that when learning new and complicated things you have to go over them more than once...but once i got it...i got it...and i'll be very very good at it....i just turned 20 and have had a lot of hands on experience with a variety of things than the average person...my age and older...from saltwater fish tanks to bikes to go karts and lawnmowers then to rebuilding engines, gas r/c cars as well as doing ''home'' repairs like painting and sheetrock....i have had a job doing none of these things....they have all been hobbies wich now that i am writing this i realize that is probably why i did so good and learned as much as i did from them.

Again you know where im at so hollar if ya need something...or need to know something lol
