    Apparently new dex is okay.

you want a hybrid OAT coolant.

    Prestone LL is probably good.

    Hi

"New" dex is just like "old" dex..its just called "new."

For the reasons listed above, I would flush and use a silicated coolant. G-05 and its clones (Mopar "Long Life" and Ford "Gold" ) fit that description, or just go with a real traditional green coolant....that has silicates listed clearly on the bottle.

Remember: Color means nada. Ingredients is everything.

My 2007 GXP has the dexcool in it and I have noticed "mud" in the over flow tank why is that , it can't be good . I want to flush it and change it to green or yellow . Is this a good idea or not.
