okay so yesterday i got a 98 gtp with 144k. n i noticed that up top there is a metal clinking/roaring sound. kinda leaning towards the s/c since the guy didn't know when it was serviced last, or the heads are bad.also its running close to 210 when im just sitting but does't go any higher but goes down when im moving. plus the low coolant light is on but it is full. the light comes n goes. looking for some help please

is it kinda like a rattle sound? If so the coupler is bad in the supercharger. Its a pretty easy fix, and only cost around 50 bucks to do it yourself.

here watch this: YouTube - Replacing a worn out supercharger coupler on 3.8 GM engines

and here is the coupler: ZZ Performance
you have the option to buy the oil with the coupler, or you can just run the local dealership and ask for 2 bottles.

no. you must have supporting mods to run a smaller pulley.

Read this. It will tell you just about everything you will need to know to mod the car safe.

headers have a downpipe, so need to buy one.

    get autolite 104's for plugs

    open cone

    pulley 3.4

if it was me a catback is a waste, these cars dont realyy sound good with exhuast IMO. They drone alot with aftermarket mufflers.

if you get header your stock exhaust will wake up quite a bit and will sound alot better.

as for a tune, contact REPTILE on this site, he can get you a custom tune for application and he is very good at what he does and is cheaper than a canned tune.

no, Headers have everything you need, they come with the front and rear header, crossover pipe and downpipe.

open cone, is a air filter. I am saying go open cone and put it right on the end of your TB to save you money. There is no sense in buy a cold air kit, because the amount of HP they say that it will increase in your car is false. Hot air or cold air it really does not matter. The blower is gunna superheat that air anyway before it goes into the engine.

Open cone is cheap, effective and most of all the best way to make the blower whine like no tomorrow.

and just keep the exhaust the way it is, with the headers it will make it better.

go to home depot or lowes and get a 3 in. rubber coupler and put that on the TB drill a hole for the sensor and put the open cone on the other end of the coupler.

or just zip tie it next to the air filter.
