Thread: Random Sub noises

When i have my system on in my car and am driving the sub will make random outbursts of noise. Not a lot just one thump but it can happen repetatively and quite often. It doesnt do it when i am in a stopped position, just when i'm moving or the car bounces. My friend says it might be my remote wire so i changed that but it still happens. Then i was told it might be a wire shorting out somewhere but i dont know. Anyone have any ideas? And could it possibly be the head unit somehow?

yea I'm almost certain that it is my headunit or headunit wires cause if i bump the dash it makes the noise so it has got to be either a bad ground wire on the unit or a couple wires touching.
