there arent any downsides to it unless you consider it dumping boost to save your motor being a downside.

I don't even think you are realizing what the actual Boost Bypass mod is. They don't get rid of it...just loosen it and move it down...and SUPPOSEDLY it isn't supposed to hold back boost like it does in the stock placement. Is it worth the time? No. Does it really work? Not hardly. It is pointless to do...leave it alone.

LOL if you think that is freaking out then I'd hate to see your response if I was actually being hostile towards you. It is the internet...if you can't take it then turn off the screen or click that little "x" in the top right corner.

The by pass mod changes the position of the rod connected to the buterfly valve in the supercharger in the valve out side the super charger. Moving it changes how much air can get threw the valve at part throttle. There is no point to do it because,
    1. It increases boost at part throttle thus leaning the car out creating kr
    2. These ares make enough torque with out getting boost sooner, no need to waste more tires.
Now it would be worth while if you had a tuner and could adjust the fueling accordingly and get it set how you want it. It wont make a big difference, but it could help get your launch dialed in a little better.

If you like decent amount of knock entering boost do this mod... It wouldn't be totally pointless if you had tuner and dropped Enrichment to 25percent. But even then it wouldn't really be worth the hassle or risk of KR
