I would say the second if those are the only 2 options you have.... at least it's not as close to the cross-over pipe (heat) .

    Why not a FWI?

the reason im not gonna go fwi is because i hear the filters get real dirty that way and theres a big chance for water to get in it. Also, a lot of people on here say that open cones are better than everything else. My only two options for right now are the ones shown.

Why not just put a longer straight piece and suck the air above the PCM area? I guess I could see, my FWI gets real dirty.... but I have a corvette filter intake, so it doesn't matter with the amount of filter area. Regarding the water, just don't floor it while going through puddles... never had a problem here, but you are also a GTP, so you suck more (air).

Okay well i unplugged the battery for fifteen minutes so the pcm can re learn fuel trims for the open cone. I tried the open cone before but did not unplug the battery, so the car seemed to run a little rough. What i mean by rough is when i let off the gas at 40ish or above the rpms seem to bounce around slightly and i can hear the exhaust a little more.. it sounds like when u put it into 2nd while goin like.. 30 and it revs up but your not hitting the gas.Well this time it runs basically the same i drove it quite a bit too.. so idk why it does that. It does not do this when the cone is attatched to the pvc
