    Sounds like your ambient air temp sensor behind your grill is intermittently giving incorrect readings (not uncommon). The system uses that signal to control the automatic air. If it thinks it's only 44 degrees outside it won't blow as cold as if it thinks it's 90 degrees outside. I'd replaced that sensor, most likely that's all you need.

    Yes, I also need to know where this sensor is and what it looks like. Anyone? I think the shop that put my bumper on forgot to plug it in because now it says nothing but 50 degrees all the time. I really hope it's just unplugged.
